yesterday drove from tampa back to orlando. returned rental car #1 and waited about 45 minutes to finally get rental car #2. now I know why I paid so much less! They wanted $10/day WHETHER I USED IT OR NOT to get the toll pass activated. and you had to buy the whole week. so if i went through one toll, I'd pay $70 plus the amount of the toll. makes perfect sense! I'll have to investigate if the pay tollo app still works in florida (edit: it does).
went to tu casa for lunch then grabbed a bike share. rode 5 miles, went back and checked in, unpacked and hung out a while. went to the store and dropped $50 then picked up the girls at about 930. was super tired but got a second wind and went for a bike ride around 11pm - felt great! slept 10 hours and just got a coffee and took a dip in the pool and whirlpool. feeling great!
