beach run

this is vacation, dont you know?

• day 3 has commenced and morning has broken
• did another 9 mile ride and i feel quite spoiled that i can take up such frivolous activities on a daily basis
• did my 4 mile loop again last night which is terryfing on dark roads that are 50 mph, need to try and knock that out a little earlier, id rather ride in traffic than in that kind of darkness
• hope to hit a thrift store or two today
• hope to go to the beach tomorrow
• feeling good and fine

how i wish...

Took a laundry basket downstairs to smooth out the sand in the volleyball court then wrote our message in the dark with the corner of a cardboard box.  Was difficult to take a photo from 5 floors up through a screen with little light but it's intelligible.  How I wish, how I wish you......

ironcase lives on!

now having survived 5 trips back and forth! got the bike assembled but still need to test ride, im sure it will need a ton of tightens/loosens to be comfortable and 'right'.  still, everything is intact. 

feeling some deep phisolophical feelings upon my arrival today.  thinking of some really weird and lonely years in here and also thinking of the good times with others, and now this year totally different.  typically exhasting travel day today with numerous flight delays eventually ending in about 90 min behind schedule.  got a great price on a rental car and the car itself is very comfortable.  took a wild backroad route from the airport that avoided all highways AND tollways.  hit the pool and dropped a regretful $90 at the bar on drinks and kind of half assed foods but it had to be done in light of all the madness of getting 3 people from chicago to orlando with their belongings.  so on all fronts it was a success.  time is limited before i keel over from exhaustion.  tomorrow start fresh and really start to lay it down properly.
